Philip Seymour Hoffman, Christina Hendricks, Richard Jenkins and
John Turturro star in this comedy drama directed by John Slattery
and adapted from the novel by Pete Dexter. In the 1970s in the
working-class town of God's Pocket, troubled 20-something Leon
(Caleb Landry Jones) is seemingly accidentally killed on a building
site. At the request of Leon's mother Jeannie (Hendricks), who is
convinced there was some foul play, her husband, small-time
criminal Mickey Scarpato (Hoffman), investigates the death with the
help of his friend Arthur 'Bird' Capezio (Turturro). Meanwhile, the
well-known journalist Richard Shellburn (Jenkins) is also searching
for the truth behind the incident and gets close to Jeannie in the
process.
Fifth film in Disney's animated adventure series following Tinker Bell and her friends.
Lured by its magic powers, dust-keeper fairy Zarina steals the Blue Pixie Dust and joins the Skull Rock pirates who make her their captain. Without the dust Tinker Bell and her friends - Silvermist, Vidia, Iridessa, Rosetta and Fawn - will lose their ability to fly.
The fairies embark on a race against time to bring it back to Pixie Hollow but when Zarina switches their unique talents, their journey only becomes more challenging.
Goro Miyazaki directs this nostalgic coming-of-age animation from
Japan's Studio Ghibli. As Japan readies itself for the 1964 Tokyo
Olympics, fatherless 16-year-old high school student Umi (voice of
Sarah Bolger) helps run 'Coquelicot Manor', a boarding house
overlooking the Japanese port of Yokohama, while her mother Ryoko
(Jamie Lee Curtis) is away studying medicine in America. After
meeting up with local orphan Shun (Anton Yelchin), Umi enlists to
help save the 'Quartier Latin', an old and dilapidated building
housing her high school's clubs, which is being threatened with
demolition in the country's drive for post-war modernisation. As
feelings begin to develop between the pair, they soon find their
budding romance under threat when they discover they share a
previously unknown past.
